Origin Growth Privacy Policy

Origin Growth is responsible for personal information in our custody or under our control. We have designated a Privacy Officer to oversee our compliance with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

• Direct Communication: Names, email addresses, and phone numbers provided through our “Contact Us” or newsletter forms.

• Service Delivery: Information required to manage client relationships and project workflows.

• Website Analytics: Identifiers such as IP addresses and browsing behaviour (via cookies) to improve user experience.

We obtain your consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information.

• Implied Consent: When you voluntarily provide information for a specific purpose (e.g., filling out a contact form), your consent is implied for that purpose.

• Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

4. Disclosure and Third Parties

We do not sell or trade your personal data. We only disclose personal information to third-party service providers (such as hosting or email marketing platforms) necessary to fulfill our identified purposes.

• Service Providers Outside Canada: If we use a service provider outside of Canada, your personal information may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

5. Safeguards and Security

We take reasonable technological and administrative measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, collection, use, or disclosure. This includes encryption for data in transit and role-based access controls for our staff.

6. Retention and Destruction

We keep personal information only as long as is reasonable to carry out business or legal purposes. Once it is no longer required, we destroy or anonymize the data in a secure manner.
